TLC
Random 4:37 update, after random 4AM shower (hey, 4AM = hot water, baby!)
TLC--first thing that comes to mind:
Tasty little cracker...-_- (I thought of this because I'm currently distracted from working on my lab write up, and we used TLCs, not the cracker kind, but despite using the chem version of TLC more often than I eat the food version of TLC, I always think of the food first.
That sentence was horribly constructed, but I need to get back to work in like a few seconds.)
TLC-chem version (thin layer chromatography) would be the second thing to come to mind when seeing TLC.
But apparently I should associated it with a crazy amount of other things. Wikipedia has a huge disambiguation page for TLC:
Maybe the reason I think about food before chemistry is because I'm hungry right now but I need to keep working..who knows, maybe a few years from now "total lung capacity" or "total lymphocyte count" may trump "tasty little cracker" in my immediate association with with the acronym/initials/letters [?] TLC.
Yay, almost weekend, so I can actually catch up on Xanga stuff soon!! (:! I've missed reading in detail...sigh.

When I think of TLC, I think of Tender, Loving, Care hehe. That's the first acronym for TLC I knew...I have heard of Tables, Ladders, Chairs and of course the group TLC.
TLC=tastes like chicken!
(:
Ooo I thought you might like this!

tender loving care
The quote at the top of your page is so hard to understand
Oh, and the Lakers lost to the Celtics today
.
don't go chasing water falls
I always think... Tender Loving Care.
tlc! first th theing that comes to my mind : girl group !
I thought of Tender Loving Care, but Thin Layer Chromotography is important too! Although I always drop the TLC plate into the bottom of the jar and into the solvent *sigh* -_-;;.
TLC has inspired you and it is great but at fist, go to eat because as the French saying says " Ventre affamé n a pas d ' oreilles " what it means : no way for a hungry people to listen to and to learn ....even this joyful chemistry .

Chemistry is on the brain! bleh
FOOD IS GOOD. I should label that FIG now.
Happy Chinese New Year to you again! And it's technically everyone's birthday today!. Enjoy.
Haha, never heard of those crackers. For me, TLC brings up the music group in my head. Oh the late 90s
The Learning Channel was actually the top of my list.
But I can see how you got "Tasty Little Cracker" lol
oooh i learned something new today
!
Thanks, I hope it's in the right direction. It's alright that you've never heard of A+. No one really outside of the IT world knows what it is.
RYC : I liked your comment Melinda . You have a mind of searcher and you will go very long on the way of studying ,searching and ...discovering . Go on!

i think of my favorite band as a kid. don't gooo chasin waterfalls...
You can help me do an anti-snow dance.
Ironic that I'm a winter baby and I'm tired of snow. Spring brings a new ring!
Thanks. I have to man up to them bugs. On another note, I sprained my ankle and slept like a baby. It's a lose win for me!
@cal_islander - LOL, tastes like chicken...that's great XD! That reminds me of the crackers "chicken in a biscuit". Thanks for the link!
@phantomFive - I'm not really sure about the context from which the quote was taken, but standing alone, I really like it. In some ways it actually reminds me a little of America the melting pot...though sometimes it makes me sad when I think about how a lot of the barriers that separate different groups are actually still up; but at the same time I guess that could be good, since we don't want to lose ourselves in our surroundings. Happy medium?

@s_h_a_sha - Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to ..(:
I just youtubed the song--didn't realize how old it was, '95! I remember listening to them too a little bit as a kid, esp this song and the no scrub song XD.
@Vitamin_D -
That's probably a better thing to associate the letters with XD, and it's probably used that way more frequently anyways. It's kind of distracting trying to imagine crackers in a scenario where people are actually talking about tender/loving/care, haha. Bizarre mental images --> can't keep a straight face for serious subjects. -_-' lol
@a_drunken_cellist - :P nerd!
I don't think I've actually watched very much from The Learning Channel...I'm more of a PBS girl. I did however play a lot of computer games from the Learning Company...:DDD
@MomoLikesChoco - Yay! At least 1 fact a day = day not wasted!
BTW, did you know hedgehogs are mammals that are lactose-intolerant? {they're actually pretty fascinating + cute little critters n_n}
@shortstuff3157 - OH YAY...except not...bleh, like you said. Yay, a few more chem-free days before spring break ends! T_T...BTW!!! Want to do anything for Pi day?
I'm back in town, yay! (:!
@phosphor_stars -
Woo! How was camping? I'm not sure if I'll be able to do anything as of yet. It seems like I already met my "going out" quota for the week according to my parents
@shortstuff3157 - I'll tell you about it at lunch! But long story short, it was psycho/crazy!!!!!! Hahahha.
LOL, that's fine! I know what you meannnn about the quota thing. Though I set quotas on myself, not my parents on me, since they think I don't have friends/a life, LOLZ.
