Textbook
The some words from the song "Textbook" by We Are Scientists reminds me a little of this xkcd (as everything in life can somehow be referred back to xkcd? It's weird...).
Another textbook situation
Everything I think I know I've readI promise I don't approach that sort of thing with calculus or any sort of math. Though maybe a little with science. Half kiddin'!I think I've posted this before, but it's one of my all time favorites:
Thanksgivings is around the corner, and then oh my! Christmas, and who knows what might be found under that tree...like "Organic Chemistry for Dummies"?

You should be happy for that gift if you get it! Why you no say thank you?!
cute comic!!! haha
I found this one for you in case you want to get lots of postcards instead of stamps
hahahah XD
Melinda to make a couple with two persons very different , perhaps a differential calculus is needed !!

Have a great chemistry at Thanksgiving !!
Your cartoons make me happy !

wat the love?
Oooo...math huh? I know one! i < 3u
I feel for whoever got a mathbook for Christmas. It's exactly the kind of thing my parents would do...I find it so weird that it hasn't happened to me.
@Roadlesstaken -
lol lol! Have you gotten any presents like this yet?
@phantomFive -
Aww, PostSecrets!
Those are always interesting. :O I've never sent them one...wonder what it would be like to find your secret in a book! Or on the web, but all anonymously.

n_n I would say music is a more appropriate language for romance than math O_~ I think one can make a heart with polar coordinate stuff [?], though I don't actually know that sort of math. :[
Are you using 'u' as just a variable or is there an actual number that goes with it (i.e. i and e)? n_n
Haha, I'm surprised my parents haven't either. O_O It'd be really sad for little kids though XD. (Oooh, I have a heavy present...*shake shake*...wonder what it is!). Unless the kid was super nerdy
, then it miiiight be exciting, depending on the subject. I would've been happy for an astronomy one as a kid, because there was one book I checked out at the library maybe 5 different times, though I still never finished it at that rate. :3
Actually, I think I got a book from my parents on my birthday for 3 or 4 consecutive years. I was pretty darn happy with getting books too! I don't actually get anything for Christmas anymore, but that's ok-I have too much junk anyways. :]

I was actually thinking of doing it to my sister this year, except giving her a textbook she already has. And wrapping it up. and then telling her I gave her the gift of education.
Phone company doing IT work and everything not related to IT.
That makes two of us in dating.

I love getting books too! But nowadays we almost have no time for books
...textbooks aren't equivalent to books in the happiness department. lol. But then again I feel bad because I buy a lot of books that I don't get around to reading, or haven't gotten around to reading...even after a few years? Fail!!! If all this reading in college didn't burn me out...but that's an excuse too because I read quite a bit on Xanga. doot doot 0:D
@phantomFive -
lol, if you do, you can always soften the present by adding an apple. lol.
@stormx11 -
lol, so all the grunt work additionally? :O
Or 1.5 of us, since I'm half in half out. Waka waka!
Cute!
@phosphor_stars -
Oh yeah, you have such good ideas. And I will wrap them separately so she can get excited about getting two presents instead of one!
@phantomFive -
lol, don't tell her I gave you that idea, lol! Wonder who my siblings get their gifting advice from, if they get any, lol. What is she studying? (:?
Yeah. Haha. Anything planned for Thanksgiving?
@stormx11 -
Going home and spending time with the family
, probably some relaxing and studying too. And possibly shopping on Black Friday :3. How about you???
?

Studying communications
My dad always gets me really useful things, like a multimeter or a power drill. Maybe this year I'll get a broom? :3.
On another note, Organic Chemistry by Clayden, Greeves, Warren and Wothers is pretty good
it's the standard textbook we get as Chemistry students.
