dinner
Blah blah, the important part is below
the dashed line.
So I am in charge of making dinner tonight.I think (if successful), I will make:
Fresh squeezed lemonade!
French bread + butter (I would do olive oil, but my next item has a lot of that already)
Gnocci with pesto sauce and some leafy vegetable (we're out of spinach
).
Bowties with alfredo sauce
???That's so carb heavy though, so I need to figure something else out. Soup?
O_O
--------------------------------------------------------
This is definitely good and easy (even I can make it!
):Fresh Peach Mousse
1 small box peach Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
3 large ripe peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup Cool WhipIn a large mixing bowl dissolve gelatin in water.
In a blender, combine peaches, honey and vanilla
extract. Cover and process until smooth. Stir into gelatin mixture.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until syrupy - about 1 1/2
hours.Beat mixture on high speed until doubled in volume,
about 5 minutes. Fold in the Cool Whip. Spoon into dessert dishes.
Refrigerate until firm - about 2-3 hours.Garnish with additional peach slices if desired.
Makes 4 to 6 servings. [source]

Good thing it's easy to make! I can hardly cook a waffle in the toaster... Lol

Haha ^^. It's okay. I think in this school year people I was cooking with set off the fire alarm twice, if not more. (Fail!)
I think the trick to a lot of foods is the packaging. So in this case garnishing with a raspberry or mastering the cool-whip dispenser are the tricks
. ^^
